Norman Vincent Peale said it beautifully - - "Believe in yourself. Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers, you cannot be successful or happy."

I first came across AssistU in 2004 when I was exploring an option to work from home. I had recently remarried and then relocated my family away from my place of business. My one-way commute was 50 miles. I was exhausted from the drive and felt guilty that I wasn't able to be involved as much with my children's activities. I was also the new pastor's wife and quickly felt like I wasn't available to the church we serve. As time passed, we eventually returned to the same city and a better commute. However, the company I worked for decided to eliminate over 300 positions and mine was one of them.

I have over 20 years experience in the administrative profession. I have worked as a customer service representative, administrative assistant, training administrator and executive assistant. It was difficult to believe that I had to start over with another company. I found myself seriously considering what AssistU had to offer…. Freedom to work for yourself, no dependence on corporate America, valuable time with your family - guilt free, unlimited personal growth, be your own boss, the list goes on.

I was accepted in the VTP through AssistU and successfully graduated in September, 2007. I have also earned the CPS and CAP designations. I look forward to my work every day and especially enjoy the two second commute! My practice will be full when I reach my business goal of partnering with five or six highly successful ideal clients who need an executive caliber virtual assistant to help manage their business. I believe in myself and I have faith in my abilities!
