Greetings from the Great and Soggy Pacific Northwest! We have rain here to mask the fact that it is the most wonderful place in the country to live! The bluest skies you've ever seen truly are in Seattle. We are close to the mountains and the oceans, with more small boats per capita than anywhere else in the world. My name is Janet Edmiston Smith and I am a Certified Professional Virtual Assistant. I have worked in large companies and very small companies, managing logistics, warehouses, presidents, sales people and inventories, amongst others. I am well versed in all aspects of running your business. In my many years in the corporate world I have developed the skills necessary to help you succeed in your business. While looking for a new corporate position I was looking through postings on the Monster.com message boards. Someone was complaining about their boss and their job and a poster responded asking them why they didn't come join them as a Virtual Assistant, and gave a description of what they were doing. The proverbial light bulb went off in my head.

On a personal level, I have been married to a wonderful man for 18 years — we were married six weeks after our first date – there are great things that can come out of the corporate world! We have two kittens, Duncan and Charlotte, who are a joy to have around. It is fun to see them explore their world — it reminds us to enjoy ours.
