Hi! My name is Laura Jo Richins. My friends and clients call me Laura Jo. I live in sunny Mesa, Arizona, with my husband and three of our five children.

I am the owner of Richins Virtual Advantage. I am a virtual assistant partnering with my clients to provide administrative support for their businesses. I work from my home office using all the conveniences of modern technology to keep in touch with my clients.

In mid-2006, in an effort to find balance in my life and to spend more time with my husband and children, I made the decision to leave my corporation position as vice president of marketing and manuals with a national company to work in my own business. It has been a wonderful journey filled with learning new things, making new friends, and partnering with some incredible clients.

As an independent business owner, I work with my clients to help them achieve their short- and long-term goals for growing their businesses. We 'meet' regularly to review and plan. We brainstorm. I help them develop more efficient and effective processes. I coordinate the work that needs to be done by either doing it myself or finding the needed resources to get it done. On a personal note, I have been married to a wonderful man for more than 25 years. We have five children ranging in age from 11 to 24. Our home is full of music and laughter. My family is important to me. It is fun to watch my children grow and experience new adventures in their lives.
