AssistU VA Spotlight

AssistU is proud to put Sunny Bain in the spotlight!

My name is Sunny Bain. I graduated from the AssistU Virtual Training Program (VTP) in 1999. I love to laugh; I have a good sense of humor and appreciate one in others. I am easy to get to know, talk to, and work with. My life does not revolve around “high-drama.” In vast contrast, I am a grounded person with a family and a life I love. I am extremely honest and feel that “honesty is the best policy” is the way to go for me. I also pride myself in my ability to be a good listener, whether it is personal or business.

I love being a VA and having a VA practice. I've been working full-time in my practice for over 8 years now! When I talk to a prospective client and tell them, “I can do that,” I can. I always give my clients the opportunity of teaching me, or helping through a process I'm not familiar with. And it's so true what Stacy says about “finding the ideal client.” I've had several learning lessons on why that statement is sooo true! :::smile:::

The most important things in my life are my family and my work. I have a terrific husband of 20 years and my beautiful and handsome (if I may say so) 11 year old twin boys. Because my family is such an important part of my life, this picture is of all of us. From left to right, Brian, Dustin, Heath and me! It is also very important to me to have a thriving VA practice, working with clients who fit with my personality and work ethics. I am truly blessed with both.

At the end of my ninth year working at The Walt Disney Company and doing a commute of 70 miles round trip a day, I decided ENOUGH! While searching on the Internet to try to find, yet again, the ideal job, I came across AssistU. As I started to read the site I had this feeling inside of me that grew and grew with every line I read. That feeling was…THIS IS IT! “It” being; working from home, doing what I love and do best, and to be able to raise my kids! What could be better?!? It took me about one month to fill out the application because I wanted it to be perfect – I wanted into this “VA” world I had spent weeks reading about. My patience and diligence paid off and I was accepted. The rest is history and the present is just that, a present every day.

Thank you Stacy and AssistU in helping me create a life I had only dreamed of.

See who else has been in the Spotlight!
